Position Summary:

The Business Development Sales Associate is responsible for developing and implementing a growth strategy within a defined territory. As a member of the Business Development team the BD Sales Associate contributes to the success of the entire team and is expected to work with the Regional Managing Director to support annual goals and sustain long term sales growth. This person will develop an understanding for our customers’ needs, effectively work with other members of the BD and relationship management team to cultivate relationships and effectively communicate our value propositions. The successful candidate will also be responsible for growing and nurturing the company brand to ensure SRS Acquiom has an ongoing and widespread reputation for exceptional quality and integrity.

This position can be hybrid or fully remote.

The salary range for this position is between $110k and $140k, depending on level of experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

In an environment where the company is at an inflection point with both solid historic business and new products and services that have huge upside potential, the Business Development Sales Associate will support significant revenue growth with their ability to:

  • Target outreach to law firms, buyers, I-banks and VC/PE firms to set meetings and presentations for the MD in region.
  • Perform extensive research utilizing salesforce and other resources to find prospective clients. Leverage LinkedIn and websites at law-firms, buyers, I-banks, VC/PE firms to find more prospective clients. Update SF with new contacts and perform outreach.
  • Attend networking events to meet prospective clients and share the SRSA value proposition.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team culture within the BD team as well as the entire organization.
  • Outreach to prospective clients offering demo’s of our technology offerings, Clearinghouse, DealDashboard, MarketStandard and VDR.
  • Perform /Lead the demo of the products and manage follow through.
  • Occasional travel for in-person meetings with clients, law firms and other referral sources.
  • Support the achievement of established sales goals and budgets.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 3+ years’ experience in business development, ideally in client management, professional services, financial services, or relevant industry.
  • Professional presence is imperative; the individual must have the poise and credibility necessary to articulate SRSA’s value proposition to various stakeholders in the M&A ecosystem.
  • The desire to cross-sell multiple products and influence varied stakeholder decisions.

Physical Requirements/Special Demands:

  • Must be available to work standard business hours, and occasional nights/weekends.
  • Travel may be necessary, but less than 25% of the year.
