Now Hiring - Outside Sales Representative in Geismar, LA

Southern Pipe & Supply is looking for an outside sales representative to drive year-over-year revenue growth with new customer accounts in the chemical, power, oil and gas, and refining industries. If you are ambitious, self-motivated, dedicated, and can provide phenomenal customer service coupled with a passion for contributing directly to the bottom line, this is the position for you! Candidates should have experience with Industrial PVF and related products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with industrial PVF influencers and key decision makers, ensuring their happiness with our products and services at all times
• Supervise sales trends and product performance results
• Continually improve sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image in the field
• Work with other branch personnel to ensure customer happiness from the quote, to the order, to delivery, and beyond
• Provide proactive solutions to our customers’ toughest challenges

Qualifications:

• Industrial PVF-related sales experience is required
• Experience calling on chemical plants, refineries, paper mills, and fabrication shops
• Must be results-oriented, self-motivated, relationship-driven, able to complete tasks in a timely manner, and thrive in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to convey technical knowledge to individuals with varied technical backgrounds
• Experience using MS Office programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel
