BOSS JCB

Parts Counter Sales Specialist

Position Specifics:

Department: Parts

Reports to: Parts MGR

Supervises: None

Purpose:

Assist in parts operations within the dealership to deliver on our promise to consistently exceeding expectations of external and internal customers while maximizing return on investment through parts sales, inventory control, and expense control. Responsible for selling, receiving, and delivery of parts and attachments.

Responsibilities:

o Communicates and monitors effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer service

o Promotes parts, attachments and/or services to exceed customer needs

o Responsive to internal and external customers at the counter, on the phone or thru e-mail

o Performs follow-up calls with key accounts & addresses concerns as a solution specialist

o Executes Parts Department marketing plan and monitors monthly to ensure achievement of departmental goals

o Receipts in shipments daily and assist with placing vendor orders

o Works with the TEAM to keep a clean and organized department

o Monitors shortages, overages and returns by customers to vendors

o Follows-up on backorders and communicates to internal and external customers

o Assist in submitting parts warranty and return claims within the guidelines set by Boss JCB

o Be self-motivated and energetic, paying close attention to the detail

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

o 2+ years experience in Parts Department operations

o Experience in the automotive or equipment industry

o Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office & internet

o Able to manage multiple projects at one time

o Ability to write and speak effectively to internal and external customers

o Basic understanding of Parts Department operations

o Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports

o Excellent customer service skills & passionate about PARTS

o Experience connecting with customers thru the selling process & building relationships

o Able to lift up to 50lbs

o Bi-lingual

o High School Diploma or equivalent experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
