REPORTING TO: CEO

FUNCTION:

Elevating JFT’s position in the market place and increasing JFT’s market share by building key relationships that increase lead generation while also managing the contract capture process to feed new contract wins through the company pipeline.

CORE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and maintains key business relationships in the government and commercial marketplace, with a primary responsibility for identifying and developing opportunities for business expansion.
  • Supports the development of customer or market penetration strategies and individual opportunity win strategies.
  • As a member of the leadership team, support the development JFT marketing and development strategy and plans.
  • Maintain the sales forecast and business development, advertising and marketing budget.
  • Maintains extensive knowledge of the current developments in the government and commercial marketplace in order to assess the position of the Company and determine how to improve it.
  • Ensures that the business development strategy is implemented.
  • Makes recommendations for change or modification to strategy.
  • Ensures the contract capture strategy is implemented.
  • Assists in developing and facilitating the sales process for specific clients, including budget and pricing development, proposal writing, contract negotiations, and client presentations.
  • Coordinates sales effort with management and technical groups.
  • Participates in professional/trade association activities and customer events.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 15 years industry experience with a demonstrated track record of business development and corporate strategy leadership.
  • An impressive network of contacts with relevant key executives to leverage for strategic partnerships and other collaborations.
  • Track record of identifying, evaluating and successfully negotiating significant business transactions.
  • Resourceful, strategic, and analytical thinker who can help shape the future strategy of the company.
  • Ability to operate strategically and execute on defined goals.
  • Results-oriented self-starter with strong executive presence who excels in an entrepreneurial environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
