Position Summary:

At Nichols Equipment the Sales Detailer is a very important component in the overall operation of the sales department. This individual will make sure equipment is ready and looking it’s best for sales reps to show and demonstrate to customers. Must have a solid work ethic who manages multiple tasks at once. Must be flexible to learn and assist multiple departments as deemed necessary.

Position Responsibilities:

• Detail inside and outside of equipment
• Minor mechanical repairs
• Assist sales department in locating and moving equipment.
• Assist customers with pickup of equipment.
• Verify serial numbers on machines.
• Ground maintenance
• Keep equipment neat and organized.
• Attaching Nichols Equipment codes on equipment
• Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing a safe work environment.
• Communication amongst all team members and assist different departments when needed.
• Organization
• Basic computer skills

Position Qualifications:

• Minimum high school/GED education and prefer 1 year of experience in construction industry and or customer service
• Excellent mechanical aptitude
• Ability to operate trucks, agricultural, construction, and consumer equipment preferred.
• Must be flexible and highly organized.
• Strong work ethic
• Active listener and exercise sound judgement
• Must have the ability to follow instructions.
• Exhibit a cheerful presence and teamwork skills.
• Accurate and detail oriented
• Must be able to pass criminal background check at time of hire.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
