Job Description
The Manager of the Embedded Payments team will focus on expanding the number of payment aggregators, FinTechs, and overall usage of embedded money movement opportunities in the global treasury management portfolio. This individual will help develop and execute go-to market strategies that attract desired client relationships across our Commercial and Corporate business lines. He/she will partner with product management, sales, corporate and commercial banking partners, marketing, and corporate strategy teams focused on emerging money movement solutions.
Essential Functions
- Lead a team of payment consultants
- Maintain a visionary view of the payments landscape in order to expertly advise prospective and current clients and identify targeted fintech client partnership opportunities for the bank
- Develop new strategic relationships at identified growth-focused partners and industries
- Partner with product management, risk, credit and other impacted teams to inform product development efforts and effectively position digital growth solutions for fintech client positioning and consumption
- Provide embedded payment sales support for existing sales and relationship management teams
- Creatively construct deals to maximize long-term revenue growth potential.
- Identify and coordinate internal bank solution bundling opportunities across business lines to enhance client offerings
- Monitor competitive efforts to target fintech partnerships and execute proactive tactics to ensure market share growth
- Utilize internal and external data sources to systematically identify revenue opportunities
- Regularly produce consistent reporting and communicate penetration progress to leadership
- Oversee successful implementation of client solutions
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Five or more years of sales management experience
- Ten or more years of experience related to selling, designing, and/or enhancing multiple, complex integrated solutions

A successful candidate in the role will have an entrepreneurial nature and will be motivated by operating in an environment that offers the ability to create structure and build new business revenue streams.

- Have extensive experience selling to and collaborating with FinTech firms
- Be a technical-minded sales professional with a proven track record of fulfilling business and gov’t treasury needs
- Have proven experience leading a growing team
- Excel at dynamically presenting digitization strategies
- Have demonstrated consultative, client-focused selling strategies
- Develop strong relationships based on trust and credibility with key prospects
- Effectively facilitate both, internally and externally through various group dynamics
- Take ownership of key initiatives to drive desired objectives
- Be adept at navigating large matrix-laden organizations
- Have the capacity to continually seek out new market information
- Have a history of anticipating market trends and benefiting the business as a result
- Have excellent presentation, training, verbal, and written communication skills
- Provide timely follow-up on both, client and internal action items
- Display strong verbal and written communication skills
This role is hybrid. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at a U.S. Bank location, while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
