Sales Associate and Off-Road Customization Specialist
- Facilitate buying experience for 4x4 enthusiasts, curate parts, bundles and products that work and complement each other.
- Help customers design their Jeep or 4x4 vehicle build. Design experience a must. This can be from other industries
- Educate and sell used Jeeps
- Greet customers. Walk outside to see owners Jeep/4x4. Find ways to build a micro relationship. Show enthusiasm as you engage walk-in customers.
- Help customers build a plan leveraging industry trends, JKland technicians and your own experience. Using various materials, documents etc., show pros and cons to help educate indecisive customers.
- Create and present accurate customer estimates
- Accountable for sales floor inventory, cleanliness, maintenance, safety and supplies
- Works directly with customers to educate and sell product and services
- Watch SEMA announcements, vendor notices, social posts etc. to look for new innovative products for the shop. Bring value propositions for new products to leaders and if approved deploy product.
- Clientele-ing: Call, email, post, direct message, etc., customers and registrants of JKLand about prior quotes, events attended etc. and encourage them to revisit JKLand. Intent is to revise quotes, close open deals or create new sales.
- As a member of Jeep Facebook or Instagram groups, post comments to user requests, share comments and photos and encourage members to shop JKLand.
- Responsibly represent the brands you sell. Sponsor yourself with some help available by JKLand. Badge your Jeep with JKLand. Live the brand.
- Support JKLand events by attending and building relationships leading to sales.
- Attend JKLand sponsored industry events, such as Caffeine & Octane, Jeep Beach and other events approved, to sell the brand, educate, generate leads and close sales.
- As you sell items in the store, ensure items are restocked and inventory updated
- Order parts for the sales you close. Follow-up on orders placed. Track and receive parts into inventory upon receipt. Ensure part ordered is correct and arrives timely to support customer project. Return damaged parts, surplus and parts ordered incorrectly.
- Establish, monitor and measure customer satisfaction goals and quality guidelines including but not limited to repairs, conversions, fit and finish and final product
- Creates regular (daily, weekly, monthly) sales and operational reports for team and management
- In partnership with owners and JK Land team, establishes weekly, monthly and annual key performance indicators. Measures self and shop against targeted goals.
- Monitors sales effectiveness, look for trends using data analysis, recommend changes to reduce lost sales
- Leverage clear and consistent communications with the shop team in order to ensure effective scheduling, customer needs are met and effective project timeline completion
- Strong financial acumen with an understanding of profit margins
- Establish long-range objectives, strategies and actions
- Creates and provides accurate cost, time and effort estimates with management approved profit margins
- Proactively assists others in achieving team and company objectives
- Maintains a clean, orderly and safe work environment
- Assists in forecasting/scheduling customer conversions, repair jobs and walk-in projects in partnership with shop team
- Ensures an outstanding customer experience
- Works with customer to assess needs and resolves concerns
- Escalation and resolution of customer grievances and concerns
- Answers questions about performance and technical aspects of our products and services
- Maintains up-to-date product knowledge to include value, benefit, operability, features and familiarity with features/benefits of competitive products
- Collects accurate and timely payment of customer invoices
- Shares timely status and escalations with team members, management and customers
- Provides constructive feedback, observations and suggestions for continued efficiencies and improvements
- Assists in ordering, receiving and controlling inventory
- Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
