Blue Star Gas (BSG), a propane, equipment, and appliance company, has an immediate opening for a full time Power Division and Appliance Sales Executive to help grow our business in the Phoenix, Ariz. area. Our sales executive will manage all stages of the sales process with a focus on exceeding customer needs and company growth targets. At BSG you will be part of a progressive new team that offers innovative products to power the home and business. The Power Division will focus on continued growth of Kohler generator sales in addition to new battery storage products and other power technologies in the future. Appliance offerings will include Rinnai water and space heating, patio heaters, and other propane technologies that are relevant in the local market.
Your typical duties:
· The Sales Executive will be responsible for growing our Power and Appliance business which serves residential, commercial, and industrial customers by:
· Being accountable for identifying and approaching new prospects on a continual basis.
· Promptly responding to incoming leads and following up in a methodical and professional manner.
· Managing sales pipeline and documenting activities.
· Close sales and facilitate a smooth transition to service for optimal customer experience.
· Capture annual service plan revenue on new and existing products.
· Stay abreast on the latest in new products, sales tactics, and processes.
Skills and qualifications:
· Two years of demonstrated success and sales experience selling generators, engines, solar, propane, HVAC, home appliances, or related equipment is highly desired.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written is required.
· Excellent computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite of products is required.
· Demonstrated ability to learn proprietary software systems is required.
· A valid Arizona drivers’ license is required.
· Ability to travel outside of market for training or support of other locations as needed (10 percent est.) is required.
· Customer Relationship Management software experience is desired.
· Bachelor’s degree and/or formal sales training is desired.
· Demonstrated experience in developing proposals, presenting, and conducting product demonstrations is desired.
· Mechanical acumen and experience with the above equipment is also desired.
Blue Star Gas also provides propane gas sales and service. The candidate will be expected to obtain a working knowledge of our propane services offered to support these segments as well.
The candidate will have access to the latest products, technology, and resources in the industry and must maintain the highest level of ethical business standards and customer service practices. He or she must be a highly motivated results driven professional who is well organized with strong follow-up skills.
