Full description of the position
- Operates the store as if it were your personal business with all decisions made.
- Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
- Maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Creating employee schedules, assigning schedules and responsibilities to employees, checking to see if these responsibilities and assignments are carried through in the store.
- Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Evaluating staff on performance based metrics and conducting Performance Impact Meetings (PIM) on a weekly basis.
- Giving staff financial goals and sales targets to meet on a scheduled basis.
- Looks for opportunities to coach every employee so that they improve and become more efficient.
- Turns in reports in a timely manner.
- Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
- Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
- Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending weekly and monthly manager meetings; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
- Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Does everything possible to meet or exceed the monthly sales goals put in place.
- Communicates any new processes and procedures in a timely manner to their staff.
- Drive high levels of customer satisfaction by identifying and addressing customer requirements.
- Deal with customer complaints and queries in a professional manner.
- Initiate and implement customer services such as after-sales service and follow up until the customer accepts delivery.
- Motivate staff to provide top customer service throughout the entire sales process and up to delivery.
