Who You Are:

Our new Sales Executive. You are a smart, driven sales person with preferred experience in software sales who is eager to dive in and hit the ground running.


What Your Day Will Include:

As GovSense’s Sales Executive, you will be responsible for:

  • Meeting or exceeding a sales quota for selling GovSense
  • Developing industry knowledge as it pertains to GovSense and our target audiences
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects
  • Manage lengthy and complex sales cycles from lead generation to contract signing
  • Travel to local and national conferences and trade shows or demos
  • Help with the RFP response process
  • Perform other duties as needed

What We Need From You:

This is a great opportunity for a self-driven individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. This role is for someone who is dedicated to making a significant contribution to the team and is eager to learn and grow the company. Job requirements include:

  • Past or present work experience with Local Government is REQUIRED
  • Be able to navigate through the local government procurement process
  • Previous sales experience in the software industry and/or ERP software sales is a plus
  • Must be competitive and results-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Great presentation skills
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Team-player
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and employees required
  • Bachelor’s degree
