Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced Sales Forecasting Analyst (Remote). This role is responsible for developing the monthly sales forecast along with the annual and five-year sales plan in association with airline sales, program management and global demand planning. This position will lead the monthly SIOP demand reviews and support linkage of the sales and program management teams in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasted sales through monitoring, variance analysis, management, and guidance. The Analyst is responsible for the analysis of actual results including variance analysis by program. You are responsible for ensuring data gathering/analysis processes are updated and provides recommendations to enhance sales forecasting analyst effectiveness.

This position works in a remote capacity.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Forecasts and tracks marketing and sales trends and analyzes data collected to identify market opportunities and adjust marketing strategies.
• Maintain forecasting models for Wheels and Brakes. This includes updating actuals, downloading open orders, reviewing, and developing assumptions.
• Understand business climate to analyze forecasts, including trend, changes in build schedules, seasonality, scheduled order programs, SAP drive, etc.
• Interface with sales, product management, and global demand planning to collaborate on forecasts and ensure alignment with SAP drive.
• Develop summaries for each market, forecast and lead the SIOP Demand reviews.
• Complete monthly analysis of actual results including gaps to plan and prior forecasts.
• Support monthly reporting and month end close requirements.
• Develop reports to support analysis and ad hoc requests.
• Proactively seek out ways to improve processes, accuracy and drive efficiency
• Support CORE and other corporate initiatives
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Experience PC skills (Excel, Power-Point, Word, Microsoft Office)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience analyzing disparate information and drawing conclusions and make recommendations.
• Experience with SAP
• Strong PC skills (Excel, Power-Point, Word, Microsoft Office)
• Experience with sales forecasting (analytical and business processes)
• Financial and/or accounting background preferred.
• Experience managing multiple critical projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience communicating (both written and verbal) clearly and concisely across all levels of the organization.
