Job Overview:

Bilingual (English and Spanish), Full Time Insurance Agent role within an independent insurance agency. Quote and sell personal and commercial lines policies (personal/commercial auto, homeowners, workers comp, general liability, umbrella, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Immediately greet all clients in person and on the phone in a welcoming manner
• Market, prospect, and close sales transactions
• Quote insurance, follow up with clients, & offer superb service
• Identify cross and up-sell opportunities
• Ask each client for referrals
• Educate clients concerning products and services
• Eliminate deficiencies in clients' coverage

Qualifications:

• Property & Casualty License required
• Bilingual English and Spanish required
• Two years of related experience preferred
• Have a commitment to excellence
• Problem-solving ability
• Pleasant and professional telephone manner
• Respond to inquiries, work requests (including cancellations), & sales requests within specified time frame
• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be teachable
• Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills
• Confident, self-starter who works well independently
• Driven and goal-oriented individual

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
