Hadco Metal Trading distributes and supplies metal products including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, related alloys, and mechanical grade plastics. Hadco products include plate, sheet, and extensive offerings of long products for general engineering, aerospace, and commercial markets. Our range of precision cutting equipment includes waterjet, band saws, disc plate saws, and shears.
Hadco Metal Trading branches are located strategically in New York, Philadelphia, Connecticut, Florida, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Georgia, Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, and California with transfer stations located throughout the East, Midwest and West allowing a nationwide presence and coverage.
We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative in the Atlanta, GA area who is competitive, capable of building strong relationships with those of all levels within an organization and thrives on success. Experience in the metals, industrial supply, manufacturing, or distribution industry is essential.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of aluminum, stainless steel, or other alloys in a manufacturing environment.
- Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales.
- Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts.
- Work closely with inside sales and purchasing to ensure quotes, material, and deliveries meet customer needs.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends to identify opportunities for company growth.
- Investigate and resolve customer inquiries.
- Previous outside sales experience in the metal, aerospace, industrial supply, or manufacturing industry.
- Ability to quickly build rapport with customers of all levels within an organization.
- Possess creative and complex thinking skills to best resolve customer's wants and needs.
- Possess a high degree of business ethics.
- Highly developed organizational and communication skills.
- Natural ability to speak clearly and publicly with confidence.
- Effective and professional ability to present information to clients on a one-on-one basis.
- High level of self-motivation and awareness.
- Ability to handle objections and provide alternatives in the sales process.
- Valid and clean driver’s license.

Salary: Base salary $85,000-$100,000 (commensurate with experience) plus commission
