Abby Solutions Group is looking for self-motivated Business Development Manager to focus on new business account development in Facility Services. The Business Development Manager role requires an individual with ability and personality that can serve as a trusted advisor for our clients and internal stakeholders to drive business value, offer advice, add new accounts, and grow existing accounts. This position is dynamic and highly cross-functional work, previous work experience in an agile and fast-growing start-up environment is preferred. Only qualified applicants will be considered.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for and has full ownership and leadership of sales, advertising, t/e budgets
- Securing new and expanded business opportunities
- Prospecting, cold calling, networking, relationship building, selling
- Selling additional ASG services to current client base
- Running lead generation campaigns through social media/email, as well as gathering, preparing, and distributing marketing materials
- Gathering and utilizing business intelligence to support sales calls and anticipate a prospect’s need(s)
- Strategizing and identifying new opportunities to grow your new accounts by delivering savings and efficiencies through the Abby Solutions Group services
- Performing deep dive quantitative and qualitative analysis to present insights that will drive incremental growth and adoption of Abby Solutions Group services. Preparing activity reports on both potential savings and value briefings to new and existing client base, as well as historical data, and market comparisons, participate in QBR’s with client teams, manage escalations if needed and engage with internal team for resolutions and client satisfaction
- Becoming an expert on our systems and services provided, assisting in on-board training for clients, conducting regular status calls and ensuring high level of client satisfaction
- Travel and engaging in both local/national business community and charitable events, as well as industry and professional associations for the purpose of creating new contacts & generating new business
- Managing calendar, setting appointments with prospects to present products and programs, and drafting correspondence to existing and prospective clients
- Assisting/preparing Request for Proposals (RFP) and reviewing RFP responses
- Gathering and coordinating materials necessary for participation in contract negotiations and service term agreements when necessary and due diligence
- Maintaining current knowledge of market conditions, service provider values, and legislation that may affect the industry
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in company systems and databases
- Other duties may be assigned
Our Business Development Manager will be successful by generating revenue and new client relationships through developing and qualifying leads. Business Development Managers will actively support and provide guidance to client and internal personnel regarding company services and the client's needs. Business Development Managers are expected to build strong relationships with new and existing client management to reinforce company commitment and more effectively anticipate client needs. Successful Business Development Managers will support the clients brand efforts by proactively identifying emergent issues and providing solutions that drive additional sales opportunities. Business Development Managers must travel to client headquarters, tradeshows, networking events, presentations, conventions, and on-site client meetings as needed to support relationship development and secure new business accounts.

Skills/Qualifications Required:
Minimum of 5 years sales exp. in pipe-line development and selling relevant trade services (facility service/construction product preferred)
BA/BS degree
Ideal Candidates will have:
Facilities management or related field
Maintenance or technical experience is a plus
Ability to adapt to constantly changing environment
Highly personable presentation and ability to maintain focused sales expectations in constantly changing environment
Moderate knowledge of a variety of trades such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, locks/gates, etc.
Demonstration of relationship building, presentation capabilities and organization skills.
Proven ability to effectively establish priorities and develop objectives, goals, and action plans to meet or exceed client expectations within a fast-paced environment
Be a creative problem solver who can identify and efficiently sort critical information
Demonstrated strong customer focus
Ability to operate within the company/department budget
Maintains a high level of technical expertise in the field of construction, refrigeration, fast food equipment, utility management, etc.
Strong attention to detail, problem solving, and time management
Superior oral and written communication skills, excellent conceptual and analytical skills, and a high degree of self-motivation
Capable to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Work experience in an agile environment
High comfort level interacting with and influencing executive-level professionals
