Retail Sales HVAC Sales Manager in Columbia, MD
Griffith Energy Services is seeking an experienced, highly motivated HVAC Sales Manager with previous background in the industry.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' direct management experience with a proven record of being able to mobilize and drive a team to achieve set goals (revenue, efficiency, customer service). We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including excellent comprehensive benefits.
Specific Duties Include:
- Responsible for $11M HVAC Installation Sales Revenue along with P&L responsibility for Installation Gross Profit target goals
- Direct management and leadership of 10 outside HVAC Sales Representatives along with two sales coordinators
- Manage technician sales lead effort and driver self-generated lead development for team members
- Prepare monthly commissions as well as assist in annual budget planning and forecasting
- Provide both manufacturer and in-house sales training for sales team members
- Handle the oversight for third-party customer financing programs
- Responsible for gathering and soliciting positive online reviews (e.g. Podium)
- Support resolution of customer challenges
- Prepare weekly, monthly, yearly sales reports
- Assist execution of marketing, advertising and collateral creation when appropriate
- Respond to customer questions/requests for HVAC sent via electronic correspondence
- Participate in the effort to generate additional subcontractor capacity with HVAC installs
- Attend various Service/Installation meetings as necessary throughout the Company
- Analyzes financial transactions, corrects records and adjusts errors
- Maintains liaison with other departments for order completion.
- Builds upon current knowledge of HVAC product lines, updates pricing, equipment delivery time, updates status of online and physical major equipment inventory
- Participate in Griffith-sponsored field marketing activities (e.g. booth attendant for local Home Shows, Fun Runs, etc.)
- Other responsibilities and special projects as requested by management
Specific qualifications include:
- Minimum of 3 years of proven management experience in the service industry
- Experience with CRM- preferably Sales Force
- Proficient Microsoft Office Skills
- Professionalism and patience while dealing with complex problems
- Motivational, listening, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lead and supervise teams under tight deadlines
