Agency Accounts Leader, PR Division

New Jersey-based, full-service adverting/PR agency is seeking a full-time, Accounts Leader / Relationship Manager for the Public Relations division. This position is currently remote but would require occasional in-state travel to bond with clients or team members. This person would oversee the PR division’s clients, develop relationships, help grow accounts and report directly to the Managing Partner.

Candidates should have excellent writing and communication skills in alliance with helping lead a communications division, experience interfacing with clients and know how to keep and grow existing clients. Multicultural experience or background is a plus.

Candidate Profile:

- Self-stater with positive attitude and “can do” spirit

- Strong organizational skills

- Experience working in, or strong understanding of the AD/PR agency business

- Track record of building and growing client relationships

- Knowledge or experience with crisis communication

- Strong knowledge of PR/Marketing as well as digital and traditional media channels

- Superior verbal and written communication skills

- Can work independently and within a team

Required Capabilities and Experience:

- 8-10+ years in an account services role with an agency or department.

- Prior experience overseeing clients (or departments)

- Involvement in development of communication/social media/digital campaigns

- BA or BS in public relations, communications, marketing, business – or related field

- Master’s degree a plus

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
