ROUTE SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES (RSR) - ROUTE DRIVERS

Our Route Service Representatives (Route Drivers) are very valuable members in our business. They work with our customers on a daily basis providing our products and services during their 4-day work week. They make sure our customers have what they need, when they need it.

Description

This position is a FOUR DAY work week, typically Monday through Thursday

Essential Functions

• Execute delivery of new/clean products and pick up of used products on a daily basis in company truck
• Facilitate daily positive interactions with our customers ensuring a positive working relationship
• Track customer inventory for correct delivery and billing using company provided handheld device; assist in issues concerning route customers
• Complete end of the day administrative tasks including unloading the truck and preparing for next day's route
• Actively drive customer retention and increase route revenue by expanding customer relationships

Experience/Knowledge

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
• 2-3 years driving/delivery, customer service, or sales experience preferred

Necessary Skills and Abilities

• This is a physical job. All RSRs must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted, and be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, twist, lift, push and walk
• Must be able to drive a truck/step van with ease and be able to sit for extended periods of time while driving the delivery truck
• Ability to remain organized and balance incoming customer requests/issues in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to communicate effectively, patiently and politely with customers and team
• Must be able to use a phone, calculator, printer, and copier
• Ability to work with limited direction on a daily basis

Work Requirements

• Must be able to pass pre-employment requirements (drug/alcohol test, fit-for-duty test, DOT physical)
• Must have and maintain a safe driving record
• Ability to work during all seasons with exposure to outside elements
