At Marsh, we are seeking a dedicated Senior Account Manager that can successfully manage a book of business, including retaining and generating new business. In this role, you will be making recommendations to clients and prospective clients based off risk analysis and strategic planning. You will also be responsible for meeting sales goals, strengthening and maintaining relationships with clients, and providing best in class service.

- Add value as Commercial Insurance Professional, building strong customer relationships to grow the book of business
- Spend time consulting customers on products
- Work with business contacts both internal and external to resolve customer issues, improve customer experience, or coverage offering
- Work with existing policyholders via the phone, email, and additional forms of communication to review their coverage needs
- Proactively reaching out to an existing customer base to grow and retain business
We will count on you to:
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to provide best in class service to drive growth and retention
- Serve as a client contact for day-to-day needs and answer standard client questions to improve the client experience
- Keep abreast of changing market conditions, understand and comply with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients
- Manage and record all activities in the workflow system to ensure timely follow up by client, carriers, client team and delivery of final policy
- Develop relationships with prospective customers and promote the sale of property and casualty insurance products
- Act as a subject matter expert for other colleagues
- Provide expert guidance on training materials to help instill a solid commercial insurance foundation for all new team members
- Have a positive attitude, a team oriented mindset and the ability to jump in and support wherever needed.
- Strengthens and maintains relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth.
- Serves as a client contact and responds to client needs and questions to improve the client experience.
What you need to have:
- 5+ years Sales and customer service experience
- Proven sales ability in a phone based office environment
- 7+ years Commercial Insurance experience
- In-depth expertise on commercial insurance products with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to build and nurture client relationships
- Ability to plan, organize, be detail and deadline oriented and maintain a high accuracy rate
- Property & Casualty license
- Ability to work an 8 hour shift within the hours of operation; 7 am – 7pm CT Monday-Friday
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed to support the needs of your customers

The applicable base salary range for this role is $ 62,700.00 - 100,400.00 USD Annual. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
