SUMMARY

Children's Factory is a leading manufacturer and service provider of products to the early childhood education market. As a National Account Manager, you are responsible for developing and implementing a sales strategy for assigned national accounts that yields sustainable growth and profitability consistent with overall strategic sales plan.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3years of sales or national account management experience and/or early childhood (industry) experience with an interest in the rapidly growing early childhood industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES, EXPECTATIONS, AND BEHAVIORS include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Possess a thorough understanding of our company's line of products and services to serve our market needs.
  • Development and implementation of strategic sales plan for assigned accounts that yields a competitive advantage translating into sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Responsible for achieving revenue and margin targets for all assigned accounts.
  • Develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Generate sales utilizing a variety of sources, including development of special programs, creation of promotions, and effective implementation of new product releases.
  • Identification of new accounts that fit within the companies defined strategic goals
  • Maintains timely and accurate records and reports, evaluate market trends affecting current and future growth.
  • Participation at customer events and trade shows to effectively represent the Company and promote product lines.
  • Implement trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending.
  • In office attendance is an essential function of this position.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The essential functions of this job require the employee to perform the following physical activities:

  • Regular use of PC, laptop, copier, fax, and other general office equipment.
  • Ability to access all areas of the facility to perform essentials functions of the position.
  • Noise level for this environment is low to moderate.
