Agricultural Sales/AR/Management Position Available in D/FW Area

Justin Seed Company, a leading agricultural retail/wholesale company is seeking applicants for a tripartite position including sales, accounts receivable, and management. JSC is family oriented, has been in the agricultural field over 60 years. We provide native grass seed, forage products, fertilizer, erosion products, and feed to a 3-state area.

• Understanding of solutions selling methodology
• Four-year degree (BA/BS) preferred, or any combination of experience, education and/or training that would provide the required skills, knowledge and abilities. Knowledge needs to include agricultural production and plant material backgrounds.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Represent Justin Seed in solicitation of sales to established customers, prospective customers, growers, and suppliers.
• Professionally present self to purchasers and producers. This includes attending to walk-in customers and correspondence via phone and email.
• Order material to be used by specific customers. (Within guidelines approved by JSC)
• Track data on customers’ requirements and competitive supply information.
• Monitor systems in conjunction with other resources to facilitate customers’ and suppliers’ businesses.
• Daily accounts receivable activities.
• Balance, resolve discrepancies, and deposit previous day’s transactions.
• Manage and represent a product line.
• Take inventory, manage warehouse.
• Develop and maintain working and social relationships with customers and personnel who have influence in purchasing products.
• Cultivate new accounts in product line.
• Assist in the production of small grains and native grasses. May include locating growers and hands-on production.
• Occasional overnight travel will be required for conventions and demonstration of products.
• Work hours will need to correspond to hours of operation. Scheduling and communication with fellow co-workers will be required to obtain time off.
