Full description of the position

Responsibilities for Sales Manager

  • Recruit, hire, and train sales team
  • Set sales goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed
  • Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them
  • Effectively communicate team goals using a data driven approach
  • Gather sales lead data from PPC, SEO and B2B
  • Develop individual quotas and assign territories for team members
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts
  • Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members
  • Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment
  • Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed
  • Creating and Managing pipeline of commercial clients, property management groups and managers who need commercial snow removal services.
  • Commercial Snow Removal
  • Become the person they rely on to solve their problems or assist them in solving issues.
  • Personally, coordinate and supervise small to mid-size tenant and commercial project(s).
  • Prepare Budgets, Cost Estimates, Schedules, and Paperwork
  • Prepare Estimates, Contracts and Project Proposals either personally or with Project Manager and present to our customer.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety laws as well as legal requirements.
  • Oversee and manage the Change Order Process
  • Oversee and manage the RFI Process
  • Explain contract and technical matters in a consistent and timely manner

Qualifications for Sales Manager

  • 5+ years of experience in sales with a consistent track record for meeting high goals
  • Experience leading a team
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Communicate team goals
  • Proven ability to lead a team to meet quotas
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Experience setting sales goals
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems like Netsuite and others
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
