Personal Lines Account Manager

We are a growing Independent Property and Casualty Insurance agency looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager to oversee and provide primary support for an established book of business. Must be detail-oriented, able to prioritize and multi-task, punctual and possess a positive and upbeat attitude toward customers and colleagues.

Position Requirements

• License in Property and Casualty insurance or willing to obtain
• College degree and/or professional designations preferred
• Must pass a pre-employment screening and background check
• Two years Insurance experience is preferred
• High level computer proficiency
• Excellent telephone presence

Position Responsibilities

• Goal Oriented
• Handle and close Sales Calls
• Connect with prospective and existing clients to address a broad range of insurance issues
• Manage and grow existing book of business
• Commit to, utilize, and follow current operating systems and procedures while remaining adaptive/flexible to changing demands of a growing company
• Self-starter and ability to work with or without supervision
• Ability to work as a team member
• Professional communication skills and the ability to review policies and answer customer questions
• Dependable and consistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of the position
• Manage several time sensitive client issues at any given time
