Sales Manager – Powder Coating

PPC provides the most efficient method to powder coat parts. With the state's newest auto Line and largest batch coating capabilities, along with media blasting, PPC can offer its customers comprehensive solutions. Whether it be thousands of repetitive parts or low volume multiple color parts, PPC's operations can offer the process that best meets the customer's requirements.

The Sales Manager will serve as PPC's primary representative to identify and secure new opportunities and expand existing relationships. They are expected to be fully familiar with their customer to provide advice and direction to solve issues. The territory for this position will be the area North of Denver up to Cheyenne.

This individual will undoubtedly have a deep knowledge of metal forming and stamping, manufacturing, construction firms, fabricators, and contractors. They will be helping to protect and distinguish products in various industries throughout Colorado and beyond.

Primary Responsibilities

• New business development to include powder coating application and media blasting
• Knows which parts work best which process and can properly price and quote lead times
• Articulating the benefits of a best-in-class coater
• Learning customer's critical requirements
• Building long-term relationships with customers and becoming their trusted advisor

Education:

Minimum two-year degree with two years of related industry experience. Four years of experience in manufacturing, industrial metalworking, machining or fabricating sales or service is required without a degree.

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of successful experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, industrial metalworking, or machining is required.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Field position. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to spend time on the road visiting new and existing customers.

TRAVEL REQUIRED

Ninety-five percent of the business is drivable in the northern Denver area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
