Advanced Sales Representative
Location: Sunbury, OH, USA
The purpose of this position is to work closely with internal teams to develop and maintain strong customer quotation strategies that support company profit targets and overall department strategy. This position will be the main sales point of contact for assigned products and will require maintaining strong working relationships with the customer to ensure needs are met, while also supporting internal company strategies. Additionally, the position will support all internal customers (including manufacturing sites) to ensure concerns are addressed and quality, cost, delivery, and design expectations are met.
Job Summary:

• Develop quotations and logic to support all customer quotes / requests. Main customer point of contact for commercial related service activities.
• Support and lead price setting for new model based on global and management strategies.
• Maintain strong lines of communication with customer and internal groups.
• Maintain pricing accuracy and update all sales related systems as required per company guidelines and procedures.
• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of all products, processes, and details for assigned products.
• Maintain understanding of all current and new Astemo related guidelines and procedures.
• Support Astemo Departments for Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Development (QCDD).
• Other Duties as Assigned.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of organization as needed
• Recommend cost saving ideas and efficiency to support Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VA/VE) activities.
• Confer with and prepares reports for management, other Hitachi Astemo companies and suppliers.
• Maintain clean and orderly work environment.
• Provide timely, regular communication to peers and management concerning job related issues.

Requirements:Education:

• 2 Years College Degree in Business Administration or Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.

Experience:

• Must have excellent communication skills and leadership skills
• Knowledge of computer systems necessary to perform job duties
• Must have experience working with multiple types of internal and external customers
• Must have experience reporting and presenting to multiple levels of management
• Must have the proven ability to: make sound business decisions; exercise good judgment; solve problems effectively; to project and maintain a professional, highly motivated, positive image and demeanor, high level of effectiveness working independently or as part of a team.
• Must have ability to multitask, adapt to direction changes, and perform effectively under fast paced conditions.
• High Ethical Standards.
• Travel (up to 25%) and ability to attend / lead meetings outside of standard hours as required (AM meetings and PM meetings).
• Intermediate experience required in Windows, MS products and other computer systems.

• Regular viewing of computer monitors, and other visual displays.

• Ability to attend meetings outside of standard work hours as needed (AM or PM meetings).
• Position is hybrid with blend between on-site and at homework. Specific flexible work schedule to be defined by management
• On-site work will be within factory office setting, where noise can be present

Travel:

• 25% international and domestic travel
