We have a manufacturing company that specializes in precision laser machining, drilling, cutting, marking, welding, lapping, and polishing of a wide variety of materials. We are currently looking for an experienced Account Manager for a 1st shift direct hire opening. Candidate must have experience in the manufacturing industry. Pay depends on experience and can range from $60k-$65k salary.

This company has a location in Westford that they will be moving to a new building in Devens, so would be working in Westford until the move is complete.

• Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, you will work with our account management team to help the company achieve its sales, quality, and customer service goals.
• Effective sales, customer service and client management skills are essential to thrive in this position.
• Good communication and a friendly, positive attitude are the foundation of this role as most of the time will be spent handling the needs of both our new and repeat clients.
• This position may also include occasional local client visits and tradeshow attendance.
• A big plus is if you have business development and/or marketing experience.
• Establishing, nurturing, and maintaining repeat/new client relationships.
• Reaching out to inactive clients via phone and email.
• Ability to create, process and follow through with client requests; generating quotes; and receiving purchase orders.
• Regular client contact concerning questions, requests, updates, delays, or issues.
• Following established ISO polices/procedures to ensure that the overall customer experience is smooth and fulfilling.
• Process customer RMA according to established policies and procedures.
• Work closely with our Planning Department to assure orders are processed and shipped on time.
• Assist Sales and Marketing Manager with various business development and marketing tasks.
• Meet and exceed company sales growth targets, turnaround, quality, and customer satisfaction goals

Requirements:

• Direct account management and sales experience (2 yrs. Min.).
• Worked in an ISO manufacturing environment (i.e., ceramics, metals, etc.).
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Experience dealing with industrial customers such as buyers, reps, and engineers.
• Familiarity with manufacturing software such as Job Boss2 or similar.
• Familiarity with industrial processing technology preferred
• 2+ years in a sales support or customer service environment.
• 2+ years in an Account Manager role.
• Business development and marketing knowledge and experience.
• College degree

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
