Fahrenheit Advisors is assisting our client Gyrus, a corporate Learning Management System (LMS) company, in the search for a Sales Account Executive. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced inside Sales Account Executive who excels at selling Software-as-a-Service solutions and wants to drive their own success. Gyrus will double in size in the next two years and needs a motivated and determined sales professional to reach this goal!
The ideal candidate will:
- Be responsible for managing inbound leads and generating new business opportunities to drive market growth. Target industries include; government, manufacturing, healthcare and life sciences, banking and finance and utilities
- Deliver effective and personalized demonstrations of GyrusAim LMS to prospects based on their needs, goals, and priorities
- Understand customer goals, plans, challenges, timeline, budget, and decision-making authority
- Meet or exceed set monthly quota of qualified opportunities and closed/won business
- Strive to continuously improve your sales process and demonstrate a willingness to learn and implement best practices
- Supplement your pipeline by completing lead-generating activities, including cold calls, email campaigns and networking
- Work with the CEO to complete RFI and RFP proposals based on templates
- Represent Gyrus at one to two trade shows per year, including set-up and tear-down
Top characteristics and traits of a successful Sales Account Executive:
- 5 to 7 years of experience as a Sales Account Executive, ideally in the software technical sales industry
- Ability to identify needs and build relationships with clients including CEOs, CFOs, CLO, and Training Managers
- Self-motivated who thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Organized with strong time management skills
- Ability to manage support staff
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A thirst for knowledge and growth in a start-up environment
- A sense of urgency and persistence
- Flexibility – Gyrus is a small company that moves and reacts fast
- This role is on-site at the Gyrus office in Richmond, VA
This position includes a base salary, generous commissions (first year and renewals), annual bonus, full benefits, 401K and profit sharing
