Spherion is looking for a Counter Sales Associate for a local retail HVAC company in Baton Rouge 70809.

This is a long term assignment lasting through September.

The ideal candidate should have Inventory and Customer Service background. Forklift preferred, but client will train.

M-F 7:30a-4:30p
$16/hr.

Responsibilities:
Under direct supervision, evaluates customer's needs and makes product/service recommendations accordingly.
Responsible ensuring proper stocking of client-branded and other HVAC-related products and supplies.
Assists in unloading products and deliveries.
Effectively communicates features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers.
Follows all safety, health and security and environmental standards.

Requirements:
Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Good oral and written communications skills.
Good computer skills required; Microsoft applications.
General HVAC knowledge required.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
