Job Summary
The Sales Development Team is a fast-growing group of sales professionals and is core to the success of our Sales Teams. As a part of the Outbound SDR team, you will play a crucial role in identifying future customers, creating interest in OnSolve’s solutions, and booking meetings and demos with the potential of creating revenue.
The right person for this role will have a minimum of one year of experience in cold prospecting for a technology-based company via telephone, email, and social media. A strong candidate must demonstrate behaviors associated with a high-performance sales culture to deliver consistent results against a sales quota.
A successful candidate will have experience using Salesforce CRM along with SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, etc. This candidate should also hold a bachelor’s degree or have specialized and verifiable SDR training.
Responsibilities
- Proactively seek new business opportunities by strategically identifying, prospecting, and qualifying sales leads for your Account Executives.
- Conduct preliminary needs analysis to determine the best approach for a potential client.
- Leverage resources effectively to create targeted messaging and educate prospective clients, highlight key features and benefits, overcome objections, and gain buy-in for solutions.
- Secure qualified meetings with decision-makers.
- Accept feedback and coaching to continue to improve and develop skills.
- Reach out to leads via cold calling, social engagement, and email prospecting to convey OnSolve’s value proposition.
- Collaborate with team members to share and learn from best practices.
- Utilize Salesforce, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6 sense, and Reachdesk along with various internal data systems daily.
- Participate in daily team coaching, weekly one-on-ones, and group role-play exercises.
- Achieve specific daily, monthly, and quarterly metrics.
- Making a minimum of 50 outbound phone calls per day.
- Executing a minimum of 100 prospecting activities per day.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree OR candidates with one to three years’ related sales experience OR specialized SDR training.
- Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.
- Be a problem solver and hate to lose.
- Energetic and positive phone skills with a professional speaking voice.
- Strong analytical and active listening skills.
- Proficient in MS Office products.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Highest level of integrity.
- Experience with Salesforce.com CRM system advantageous.
- A can-do attitude and a competitive spirit.
- The desire for a long-term career in sales.
- Track record of achieving sales quotas.
- Ability to analyze, strategize and present sales performance metrics to the leadership team.
- Hands-on experience with sales techniques (including cold outreach, email marketing, and conferences/events).
