Job Description : Great River Food is looking to hire Sales Executives who are experienced in sales. You must have a passion for sales and be a natural leader. The position entails creating leads and finding new customers. The best part of our industry is that the products are consumables. Once you sign on a new client, their purchases will be added to your commission in perpetuity. We have a reputation as the leader in our market, so many, if not all of the potential customers you approach will already be familiar with our brand.

Job Requirements and Duties:

• Develop business plan to set territory goals
• Establish and maintain customer satisfaction
• Input orders and/or other required information via fax, phone and computer
• Demonstrate knowledge of pricing, products and competitions
• Visit customers routinely to maximize volume and profit in all categories
• Participate in negotiations to optimize competitive pricing
• Work with the A/R department for current A/R status on customers in your territory
• Manage customer purchase patterns and detect variances
• Notify customers of new products applicable to their industry
• Cold call potential customers
• Create reports for sales supervisor if required

Qualifications and Skills

• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Automobile to travel within the territory region for customer visits
• Available to take orders (if needed) on weeknights and weekends
• Bachelor’s degree is required. Exceptions can be made if you have extensive sales experience.
• At least 3 years of prior Sales Representative experience (food industry preferred)
• Must always maintain a valid California driver license
• Must enroll in the DMV Pull Notice Program
• Must maintain car insurance with company as additional insured
