Branch Sales Manager - Heavy Equipment Parts in Norcross, GA
The purpose of the HeavyQuip Branch/Sales Manager is to manage the branch operations and drives parts sales to meet or exceed store objectives and ensure an excellent customer experience. This role is responsible for effectively supervising parts department employees, outside sales employees and inventory to ensure work is performed in a professional and safe manner, and that all necessary administration is handled promptly and accurately.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
§ 5+ years of sales experience in the Construction Equipment industry. (IE. Bulldozers, Excavators, Skidders, Wheel Loaders, Backhoes, Scrapers, Compact Loaders.) (Crawler type equipment)
§ Prepares and presents product line information to customers, prepares & presents professional sales presentations to clients.
§ Contact & visit current and prospective customers, on-site, growing market sales and penetration.
§ Identifies potential sales opportunities by prospecting, visiting prospects, identifying needs, explaining product details, options, initiates product quotations, follow-up with customer inquiries, answers customer questions, correspondence, resolves customer problems, builds long term customer relationships.
§ Requires routine sales travel to visit new and existing customers.
§ Responds to customer inquiries, service needs, questions, or complaints regarding products, services, billing issues and deliveries. Coordinates and works with inside sales and order processing groups to achieve desired results.
§ Manages territories outside salespeople to maximize our presence in the industry and ensures return business.
§ Must have and maintain a clean driving record and have a valid driver’s license.
§ Execute timely preparation of all expense reports, call reports, travel planners, ensure that databases are current and updated with accurate customer information, and assigned projects in a timely manner.
§ Maintains and updates customer database, customer contacts, price levels, reviews / analyzes customer sales reports, identifies and takes appropriate action to grow sales based on related information.
§ Handle customer calls relating to complaints on orders by investigating the basis of complaint, referring problems to appropriate personnel, recommending action to rectify problems, and following up to ensure resolution.
§ Cultivate a strong product and market knowledge, as well as knowledge of the customer’s business and end use of material.
§ Maintain a neat and clean appearance in the customer parts area and parts warehouse.
§ Quoting and negotiating prices and credit terms and closing orders.
§ Must be familiar with basic technical information related to heavy equipment to assist customers in their needs.
§ Ability to lift/move 70lbs.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
· 5 years proven experience in heavy equipment parts
· High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
· Ability to prioritize work and multi-task in a fast-paced shop environment
· Good verbal communication skills
· Familiar with Outlook, Excel, Word and Parts look-up
· Current and valid driver’s license.
· Good communication skills
Physical Requirements:

Pay: $37,203.33 - $142,744.98 per year
