We are seeking a sales support professional to assist our team by providing illustrations and sales positioning, recommending products and solutions, and guiding agents throughout the entire sales process. Essential Job Functions

• Handle outbound, inbound and email requests to existing agents and their staff by telephone and e-mail. Provide sales support and case consultation to agents regarding potential sales opportunities. Maintain and update agent information in company database.
• Assist agents throughout the sales cycle until they are paid, including help with licensing, contracting and new business assistance.
• Maintain contact with agents/staff primarily through outbound follow up calls on product quotes, illustrations, and materials sent to agents/staff. Identify and resolve any potential pre-sale issues and work to resolve. May assist with outbound calls.

Experience and Education

• Prior experience within an insurance carrier environment preferred.
• Phone sales experience preferred.
• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Licensing

• Active insurance license or able to obtain an insurance license within the first three months of employment.
