The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is the single point of contact for all project quotations and works directly with the ADS field sales representatives on a daily basis, and external customers on a limited basis. The main forms of communication that the ISR’s have are either over the phone, via e-mail, or through Chatter (Salesforce). The ISR works with the ADS field sales representatives to prepare new project quotations, prepare quotation revisions, assist in the pricing approval process, enter new planning projects, perform contact management/maintenance, and distribute submittal packages/product information upon request. The Inside Sales Representative is also responsible for communicating with other Departments as needed, providing various reporting as needed, and performing other administrative duties as assigned or needed. The Inside Sales Representative reports directly to the Inside Sales Supervisor.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Build rapport with the field sales reps and provide Salesforce support
- Develop an understanding of the individual territory dynamics (i.e. customer relationships, pricing, competition, etc.).
- Produce/deliver all quotes for the assigned sales territory\Prepare new projects/quotes within Salesforce, confirm the accuracy with the sales rep, and send to the customer.
- Modify existing quotes with different quantities, products, customers, etc.
- Ensure that the product numbers used on the Salesforce project quote match what is being requested by the sales rep and/or customer (serve as a check and balance).
- Edit pricing on the Salesforce project quote to match the requested quoting strategy.
- Collaborate interdepartmentally to obtain products/pricing to generate quotes.
- Enter planning projects into Salesforce as requested.
- Manage (add/delete/update) the Salesforce account and contact list for the sales representative.
- Review existing quotations in Salesforce to determine if pricing is still valid and/or update pricing through collaboration with the market analyst and outside sales rep.
- Review a BOM to extract products needed to generate a finished quote
- Maintain confidentiality of all trade secrets and other company/customer information.
- Follow all company procedures and policies.
- Create solutions.

- High School Diploma
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

- Inside Sales (2+ years)
- Windows and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)
