Account Manager - Commercial Lines Insurance

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with our clients

Collaborate with multiple team members across the organization to accurately execute client requests

Manage the day-to-day client needs on behalf of an assigned Commercial Lines Risk Manager

Develop good working relationships with the underwriters at multiple, nationally recognized, and highly rated insurance carriers

Be proactive in bringing forward suggestions for changes in procedure, process or planning to improve the client experience.

Be a center of knowledge on industry news, changes in regulation and market trends.

Essential Attributes

Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Must be a good multi-tasker with a strong attention to detail

Positive attitude with the ability to deliver service excellence

High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PP)

Experience in Applied Epic is a plus

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or two years’ work experience

NYS Property & Casualty Broker’s License

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
