How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
The Division Sales Support Specialist will act as the liaison for the division’s national sales team (i.e. Strategic Account Managers) and other internal associates and departments such as Regional Account Managers, Account Managers, District Managers, Area Vice Presidents, accounts receivable, customer experience and operations. The main focus of the position will be to coordinate all activities not directly related with customer sales negotiations to support the sales team in achieving sales and margin targets.
  • Coordinate actions necessary to maximize implementation opportunities at customer sites located in the division, whether it’s site, product, technology or service implementation with a keen awareness of value creation for strategic partnerships.
  • Act as point contact for internal interaction for account implementation plans to maximize volume opportunities for national rollouts.
  • Assist SAM in presenting national rollout plans to the regions sales teams and manage implementation project plans, track progress report results to stakeholders.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of account tracking and predictive database tools to target opportunities for business penetration.
  • Help to identify cost savings opportunities to increase account management efficiencies.
  • Acts as single point for administrative order to cash requests related to all national account activity within the divisions four regions.
  • Assist division’s Strategic Account Leader research and prepare various data points to determine business position for stakeholder review and approval.
  • Assist with price management activities (i.e. price verification, confirmation of fee obtainment) to ensure adequate cost recovery and margin attainment.
  • Assist sales team in ensuring division personnel are meeting the terms and conditions of the agreement in place while holding customer to the same standard of meeting their agreement obligations throughout the cycle of the contract.
  • Report national account participation and growth opportunities with local account managers to support sales and implementation initiates.
  • Assist and coordinate necessary activity with the Business Support Center and the Strategic Accounts Business Management teams to support national and Cross Business Unit (XBU) accounts.
  • Supports administrative activity and the execution of XBU account portfolio management to aid in maximizing volume opportunity within account portfolio.
  • Initiates continuous communication with division’s sale force personnel regarding active quotes, pending actions, necessary site surveys, asset audit coordination and/or open issues that require closure.
  • Assists in the preparation of the communication and directs local field to coordinate activity on known construction projects for national account opportunities.
  • Works with branch and asset personnel to ensure ample stock is available, deployed and staged to supply product levels as required by customers.
  • Work through the coordination or resolving customer issues/escalations with sense of urgency to achieve first time resolution.
  • Responsible for maintaining organization of documents related to national accounts in Team Shared Drives.

Are you a MATCH?
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Additional post high school education and/or training preferred.
Required Length & Type of Experience:
  • Two years in a customer service and/or sales related role.
  • Prior experience with SAP preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Excellent customer service & communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Google platform: Sheets, Docs, Slides, Gmail.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent’s.
  • Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrates a clear and effective speaking manner for the purpose of explaining information to customers and employees and strong customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to manage time and priorities.
