Job description
$75,000 base plus 10% bonus paid on quarterly salary.
We are looking for a Physician Relations Associate to help build and maintain referral relationships between the medical community and RealWave Neuropathy Treatment Centers in Gainesville, Johns Creek, and Decatur, Georgia. This position will target and meet with local primary and specialty physicians to promote our services and drive referrals.
Develops and maintains strong relationships with local physicians and practices in a defined service area through consistent, strategic field call strategies. Works under the supervision of Physician Relations Manager and in collaboration with center staff to drive and sustain growth in the region. Participates in market planning and identifying physician targets to achieve this growth through utilization of data analytic tools. Delivers outreach reports to leadership on a weekly basis and mileage and expense reports on a monthly basis.
Responsibilities
· Knowledge of physician, patient, and healthcare issues. Knowledge of healthcare delivery and operations is needed.
· Able to analyze physician volume data, payer mix, and link to market positioning.
· Grow physician referrals by connecting our facility, physicians, and staff with the local healthcare community. Arrange educational presentations and meet and greets with physician practice groups, existing physician referral network, treatment centers, hospitals, etc.
· Responsible for weekly outreach reports.
· Able to communicate effectively (written and oral) and gain credibility with physicians and their staff. Able to clearly articulate our value proposition and cultivate relationships by building referral sources' loyalty over time.
· Attend community and networking events on an as-needed basis to represent our company and its services.
· Schedule and attend meetings with potential referral sources or physicians and deliver marketing and referral collateral.
· Collaborate with colleagues to effectively contribute to the working group's achievement of goals and to foster a positive work environment. Actively participate in marketing and business development meetings.
· Knowledge of the standards and the laws applicable to physician referrals, planning, and business development. Able to interact with colleagues to ensure compliance and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
· Able to understand the larger vision of the organization in the changing healthcare environment.
· Perform additional duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary
· Willingness to accommodate physician's schedules, which may occasionally fall outside standard office hours.
Education/Qualifications
· An Associate's degree in sales, marketing, healthcare administration, business development, or a related field preferred.
· Minimum of 1 year working experience in a health or medical setting.
· Able to articulate medical knowledge, especially related to our services, the referral process, treatment offerings, and equipment.
· Strong interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills (live or via video conference), with the ability to impact and influence results.
· Experience with CRM and activity reporting software is a plus.

Works cohesively with leadership and clinic staff to drive and sustain growth in procedural services aligned with the local, regional, and enterprise business plans. Participates in strategic planning and identifying physician targets to achieve this growth through utilization of data analytic tools. Delivers prospective business plans and retrospective performance reports to leadership on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
