Position Summary
Responsible for maintaining and growing Femasys’ commercial product sales. Assist department with developing commercial strategies, including representation at trade shows and regional conferences. Support creation of sales tools and overall marketing activities. Interface with customer service and provide back-up support. Analyze market data and make recommendations for sales programs. Interact directly with customers to maintain and grow sales. Supports overall Femasys corporate goals and initiatives.
Specific Job Functions
- Interact directly with commercial customers to maintain and grow sales. Utilize phone, web, customer visits, trade shows, customer service and other marketing resources.
- Source new customer opportunities through prompt inbound lead follow-up and outbound activities.
- Perform effective on-site or webinar training to provide product education and demonstrations; follow-up to close sales.
- Research accounts to identify key players and generate leads.
- Maintain sales database with current information and provide reports as requested.
- Attend/organize trade shows and regional conferences.
- Provide back-up customer service phone support as needed.
- Asist department with establishing monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
- Build relationships with medical staff, including gynecologists and nurses.
- Support the development of commercial sales tools and marketing materials.
- Provide written reports for commercialization activities as requested.
- As necessary, receive and communicate customer feedback through Femasys quality system and respond to the customer promptly with resolution, as applicable. Assist QA in obtaining all required information from customer and follow-up as necessary.
- Represent the Company in a positive, professional manner with all internal contacts and external customers, while upholding Femasys values.
Physical Requirements
o Normal office environment.
o Travel will be required.
Minimum Qualifications, Education & Work Experience
o Bachelor degree or advanced degree desirable.
o 1-2 years of demonstrated sales experience with marketing department involvement. Medical device sales preferred.
o Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills to effectively, both orally and in writing, communicate with internal and external customers.
o Professional presence, ability to represent the Company internally and at external functions in a competent and professional manner.
o Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
o Comfortable operating in a high-growth environment and self-motivator.
