Full description of the position

Responsible for marketing security services and benefits, generating new business and responding to leads, establishing, and cultivating relationships with vendors, security integrators and alarm dealers in both commercial and residential markets.

* Increase revenue by organic, inorganic or cross-selling of ATS products and services in both commercial and residential markets
* Sell additional products and services to existing accounts that continue to present new sales opportunities, as well as add-ons, amend and convert existing customer systems to meet the customers’ expectations
* Develop and implement territory action plan using comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field
* Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information
* Protect revenue by retaining the current dealer and account base and renew existing customer agreements
* Maintains the positive relationship between ATS and the division's dealer base.
* Identify prospects, obtain referrals, and work with Centers of Influence by utilizing creative lead-generating techniques and maintain productive working relationships with existing customers.
* Remain current with industry trends, technology and what our competitors are doing.
* Conduct post installation follow-up by contacting customers, ensuring commitments were met and affirming customer satisfaction once the customer has been in service.
* Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the complete line of product/services and customers’ issues and needs through in-house training and reading/research.
* Active participation and cooperation in sales and marketing meetings.
* Assist in PR, news releases, industry news, webinars, educational seminars, trade shows, regional organizational meetings, and functions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
* High School diploma or GED
* Must be PC literate and some familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
* Strong organizational skills; multi-task oriented
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a successful commercial sales representative in the security, IT, or other technology sales industry, demonstrated by the consistent ability to meet and exceed quotas.
