Insurance Account Manager Tech (P&C) :

Minimum of two years of experience in an insurance agency, brokerage, wholesale, or company setting.

Very Strong customer service skills.

Preference will be given to a candidate with extensive experience in the commercial insurance field at an independent agency.

Responsibility/Roles:

Providing assistance to the account managers and producers in their daily roles within the agency.

Working hand in hand with agency producers and account managers in areas of new policy placement, quoting, policy proposals, renewals, changes, coverage suggestions, risk management, and claims.

This includes but is not limited to: documenting the customers file as needed when coverage changes occur, updates are made, and/or correspondence is made to the customer or received from the customer through an onsite meeting, phone call, email, fax, letter, or any other means of communication.

Assists current customers with questions and advice regarding coverage, updates, claims, risk management, payment options, and policy interpretations.

Quotes and markets new business that comes to the agency from call-ins, personal contacts, rounding accounts of current customers and clients of producers

Responsible for setting the customer up correctly in the Agencys management system and modifying the information on an ongoing basis as needed as changes occur.

Requirements:

Minimum of two years of experience in an insurance agency, brokerage, wholesale, or company setting.

Property and Casualty licensed in the state of Tennessee (or a reciprocal state)

AMS 360 (or similar) proficient

Very Strong customer service skills.

High school graduate or equivalent. College Degree Preferred.
