Full description of the position

JLAN Solutions has an immediate opening for a Capture Manager to join our team and to support BCG Finance. The individual will be responsible to Develop value propositions, support business cases and project plans and develop early win strategies


Location: Remote

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Develop, organize and execute significant capture activities,
  • Assist with the gathering, assessment and validation of customer requirements, identifying gaps and emerging requirements
  • Drive all aspects of the capture successfully through the Win Plan process.
  • Communicate resource needs and leverage resources assigned, collaborating with subject and technical matter experts, functional leads, and Program Managers.
  • Plan and participate in capture activities, to include white papers, RFIs, sources sought, workshops, opportunity gate reviews, black hat sessions, collaboration sessions, and proposal reviews. • Ensure timely delivery of compliant RFI, sources sought and proposal responses.
  • Brief capture status to senior management at specified milestones in the capture process, when material changes occur and as needed.
  • Conduct after action reviews for all business opportunities, document lessons learned and identify necessary adjustments to capture technique, strategy, and actions.
  • Work with business development and operations personnel to help assemble federal pursuit teams and develop branded, compliant proposals in the federal marketplace
  • Lead strategic capture efforts throughout the sales lifecycle, including: develop customer intimacy, shape opportunities; analyze competitive landscape; messaging and win theme development; support and/or lead solution development; advise regarding strategic teaming partners; schedule development and review; proposal/technical writing and editing; ensure compliance; presentation review and interview support; conduct debriefs; and proposal closeout/updates to CRM system
  • Identify and qualify opportunities throughout the federal market

Required Skills & Required Experience

  • A.S. or B.S. in Liberal Arts or equivalent experience required.
  • At least 5 years of experience personally leading/producing proposals and managing proposal efforts.
  • Extensive MS Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe InDesign experience. Other graphics software and CRM database experience are also desired.

Experience with MS Teams and Box.com preferred but not required.

Exceptional written and oral communications skills.

  • Effective and efficient project management skills, including planning, organization, problem identification and resolution, time and resource management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and prior experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
