This position oversees all activity within the marketing, revenue and reservation departments. It requires a visionary leader with high-level skills in strategic planning, market analysis, financial acumen, as well as strong written and verbal communication. The Marketing & Sales Director will play a key role in the ongoing maintenance and evolution of All Seasons Resort Lodging’s nightly vacation rental management. This position is office-based in our corporate office in Park City.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and drive overall digital marketing strategies including search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and social presence (social reputation and social media).
  • Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Prepare and maintain a current annual marketing plan with measurable and specific initiatives detailed to maintain and grow each business segment (property management and guest reservations).
  • Develop and oversee the execution of strategic marketing plans against a defined budget to maximize revenues through direct sales, marketing, e-commerce channels, and community partnerships.
  • Review and approve all marketing collateral, and guest/employee communication to ensure that they are accurate and on brand.
  • Develop strategies and incentive programs to meet or exceed budgeted numbers.
  • Ensure all related system are configured correctly and are working to full capacity.
  • Update plans and actions to prepare for management meetings.
  • Create quarterly reports and presentations to report ROI for marketing initiatives to share with president.
  • Monitor booking pace and respond to unexpected variances.
  • Ensure profitability through strategy.
  • Groups Sales management.
  • Identify trends when production is not meeting budget expectations and implement solutions.
  • Seek and review sales and marketing best practices/publications and use this information to train/coach associates to increase production.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Oversee revenue and marketing teams.
  • Interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
  • Conduct formal performance reviews and use this information to create individual development plans, career paths, and promotion development plans.
  • Manage associate performance, develope performance plans for associates below expectations.
  • Identify and respond to the needs, questions or issues brought forth by team associates.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to team associates.
  • Mediate conflict in and between teams (e.g., between marketing and sales/operations teams).
  • Develops staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.
