Key Account Program Manager, Nutrition and Food Choice Architecture - National Support
Key Purpose

The Food program’s mission is to inspire and enable the Google community to thrive through food choices and experiences. Based on the program’s vision and mission, the Food team has developed a clearly defined strategy that strongly emphasizes collaboration, innovation, the Responsible Business framework, and behavioral sciences. This is a national program supporting $120M client in 13 states and ~40 locations.
The Food Choice Architecture Program Manager reports to the Senior Director of Business Excellence and manages the research, program development and measurement of nutrition strategies to support the clients overall mission.

Key Areas of Collaboration and Influence
- Partners with the client to set strategy and align on the program goals and targets to our client’s ambition and vision.
- Leads the development of policy, processes, systems, and tools to deliver a systematized and scalable approach to nutrition and choice architecture across our varied food spaces.
- Defines, develops, and deploys scalable training, teaching materials, curricula and job aids to deliver a consistent program and user experience.
- Acts as the liaison between the global and regional teams and Vendor Partner service providers for choice architecture, including sharing program requirements, marketing and promotional plans, best practices, and evaluating the impact of choice architecture on user choices and the user experience.
- Drives engagement strategies and training to increase the participation of operators implementing the program to maximize the impact of choice architecture on user wellbeing and program sustainability and safety.
- Partners with experts in nutrition, culinary, sustainability, health & performance, and behavior change to take a holistic approach to user health and wellbeing.
- Builds and manages operational tools to effectively support the operationalization of the Key Account goals around nutrition
- Deploys and trains programs for the ~40 sites and 800+ team members
- Coordinates the activities of all stakeholders and partners (internal and external) involved with delivering the program to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Communicates the program KPI and impact to program sponsors and stakeholders weekly, quarterly and annually, identifying strategic program development opportunities.
- Partnering with internal and external research organizations (i.e. universities, corporations, food & beverage professionals, engineering teams) to plan research and collect analytics/insights to inform and drive new and leading FCA initiatives.
- Project manages and executes pilots and initiatives.
- Develops nutrition strategies to support return on wellness initiatives and is a key contributor to the development of Google Food’s Return on Program Investment (ROPI) model.
- Support development and implementation of an Allergen Control Plan.
- Develop training and tools to mitigate risk regarding food safety and allergens.
- Serves as subject matter expert on further developing and applying nutrition knowledge and insights in corporate food services.
- Collaborates with key nutrition stakeholders from the ISS Guckenheimer team to lead and project manage nutrition initiatives for ISS Guckenheimer and share best practices.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders on projects where behavioral science input is needed
- Travel required 10-15% / Must be in office weekly
Ideal Candidate Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in behavioral economic, public health, dietetics, food ecology or related field of study required
- Master’s degree (RD, MBA, MPH, Med, MRes, MS, MPA or a related field preferred) or equivalent combination of program development, management and evaluation - PHD a plus.
- Experienced leader with the ability to effectively communicate, motivate and interact with all levels within the organization.
- Previous experience demonstrating strong analytical aptitude. Ability to gather data, assess situations and quickly develop solutions
- Previous experience in presentation, training and facilitation of the implementation of new programs

Experience analyzing and interpreting verbal and written communications and quantitative data to draw conclusions and make recommendations.

- Computer and statistics software skills: Google suite, including docs, sheets, and slides, and experience SPSS, SAS or other statistical software a plus.
Physical Demands &Work Environment
- Work up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs.
- Come to work properly dressed according to the dress code.
- Employee must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods.
