Founded in 1972, Jonaco Machine, a division of Demmer Holdings, is a full-service precision machining supplier with 50+ years of industry experience producing a portfolio of complex, high mix, low volume parts with very short lead times. We have built a strong reputation of making difficult, close tolerance parts for customers in the medical, aerospace/defense, and high technology industries with focus on high complexity precision CNC milling and turning machining.

Jonaco is currently welcoming strong candidates to apply for an Account Representative position at our Shakopee location. This person will primarily act as a liaison between the customer, the Customer Experience Manager (CXM), and Operations/Production staff regarding contract administration and other non-technical matters affecting current orders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Primary liaison between the customer, the CXM, and Operations/Production staff regarding contract administration and other non-technical matters affecting current orders.
• Maintains strong overall customer relationships with buyers of assigned accounts, providing best-in-class customer service.
• Understands importance of timely and accurate execution of all tasks, activities and impact to the organization in meeting quality, delivery and cost metrics.
• Reports out on performance as measured by the customer.
• Oversees and enters discrete and blanket purchase orders into the company’s ERP System, based on price and lead-time quotes. Works with customers regarding problems such as insufficient lead-time or expedite requests, missing releases, pricing discrepancies, change orders and rescheduling, and ensures orders meet customer’s requirements/specifications.
• Tracks customer and order communication via a CRM system, managing situations and discrepancies through resolution.
• Analyzes customer and internal data within ERP System to make sure orders are balanced.
• Provides the internal company leadership for portal activity for assigned active customer accounts and is accountable for daily participation in portal activity.
• Prepares repeat customer quotes and estimates for existing parts per customer requests in a timely manner, by using quote sheet and routine mathematical computations or estimating software.
• Processes print corrections via the company’s Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process.
• Prospects for new or additional business and jobs by contacting and meeting with potential and existing customers at direction of Business Development Manager or CXM, or through contacts with previous buyers.
• Assists CXM with management of projects within active customer relationships, assuming the lead position when directed by CXM.
• Contacts customer’s engineers regarding details of jobs.
• Contacts customers for miscellaneous information relating to jobs and orders, as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Education or GED required
• Bachelors' degree preferred
• 3 years of ERP system experience required; Infor Visual ERP system preferred.
• 3 years of Manufacturing experience required; machining knowledge preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite software preferred, including Teams.
