Full description of the position

Seeking a property & casualty licensed commercial lines insurance agent with at least 2-5 years of experience servicing commercial lines insurance products. Candidates should be strategic thinkers who value honesty and possess a sense of urgency matched by integrity and an absolute commitment to client care. The Agent will be responsible for servicing all aspects of an assigned book of commercial lines business as well as growing that book of business.

Salary: $45,000-$90,000

Duties:

• Service existing accounts and develop new accounts
• Remarket existing accounts at clients request or as the market environment warrants Handle all processing with client and/or company personnel
• Execute coverage analysis: notify client of coverage gaps; provide client with quotation for additional coverage's
• Service existing book of Commercial Lines business, as assigned or needed Refer all leads, other than Commercial Lines, to appropriate Department
• Promote agency to insurance industry
• Keep informed of industry developments through review of trade press and by attending company-training meetings on new products
• Attending classes, i.e. CISR, CIC, etc.
• Review all renewals within established guidelines
• Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by management

Qualifications: 2+ years experience at an insurance agency in Commercial Lines (preferred Ag related experience) Valid P&C brokers’ license (would be nice to have L&H too)

• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly self motivated, positive, upbeat attitude, innovative, reliable, consistent, a person of high integrity and honesty, proactive problem solver
• Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications, esp. Microsoft Office
• College degree preferred
• Exceptional organization and time-management skills
• Applied Systems agency management system knowledge

Pay: $45,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
