The Vice President, Sales & BD position leads the overall planning and implementing of sales and marketing programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new commercial and defense markets. Overall departmental responsibilities, management, and oversight.

KEY DELIVERABLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Leads sales activities, owns the pipeline and sets performance goals accordingly.
· Oversees client relationships and proposal activities.
· Meets with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
· Coordinates liaison between sales, business development and other functional units.
· Prepares regular sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
· Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs, proposals, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.
· Represents company at trade association meetings to promote ADG products and services.
· Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
· Develops and implements strategic marketing plans, sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
· Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
· Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
· Master’s degree or equivalent number of years of experience.
· Defense industry experience strongly preferred
· Minimum 10 years of related experience with proven track record of developing new business and progressive management experience leading others in highly successful sales organizations.
· Strong business acumen with customer and relentless client focus.
· Excellent verbal and written communication.
· Results driven with tactical, strategic and technical capabilities
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $155,000.00 - $205,000.00 per year
