Retirement Plan Account Executive (Bethesda, MD)

Our growing financial and insurance brokerage has an opportunity for a detail-oriented team member with a minimum 5+ years managing retirement plans either on the advisory level or on a record keeping level. As our business continues to exceed sales and growth targets, we seek a candidate with experience in managing our larger retirement plans. All applicants must display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, exemplary customer service skills, and the ability to prioritize and multitask.

EDUCATION/LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of Science (B.S) in Finance or Economics or related field
• Series 6 and 63, 7, 66 (or 63 and 65) or ability to obtain within 6 months

REQUIRED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

• 5+ years’ experience managing retirement plans either on the advisor or record keeping level.
• Develop a thorough understanding of our business, products and services.
• Consistently deliver a high level of proactive client service in a professional manner.
• Broad background in retirement products and general investment matters.
• Ability to effectively produce and deliver plan review meetings (in-person or virtual)
• Ability to effectively deliver participant education and wellness seminars (in-person or virtual)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and face-to-face relationship building abilities
• Achieve individual and team goals for service levels, growth and retention for assigned book of business.
• Ability to work in a team environment to ensure common goal of providing exceptional client service.
• Competent computing skills that include working with the Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ensure conformance with entire company guidelines and regulatory policies
• Maintain and update Salesforce on existing customers
• Prioritize customer requirements and cross-sells services and products of varied company business lines
• Strong quantitative and analytic skills are essential.

Work Location: Bethesda, Maryland

Remote Work –Ability to work remotely 2-3 days per week if desired

Pay: $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
