Pax Properties, a growing hospitality and real estate development company, is seeking focused, energetic, collaborative, and highly productive Sales Account Executives to sell hotel-room blocks to “SMERF” groups (i.e., Social, Medical, Educational, Religious & Family groups) locally negotiated rate agreements for businesses and events space sales.
As a Pax Properties Sales Account Executive, you will drive revenue through direct sales and cultivating value-based customer relationships to generate long-term repeat business (and commissions), playing a vital part in growing the company’s top line and achieving market share goals.
In this role, you will be supported by and report to senior sales leadership and a divisional general manager.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the development and implementation of promotions, both internal and external
- Applying positive and persistent sales tactics to ensure maximum potential revenue potential
- Meeting or exceeding Key Performance Indicator (KPI) requirements, including calls, activity and contacts logged in CRM,tours (virtual or onsite), networking functions, contracts proffered, bookings and sales goals.
- Working with management team in developing and executing sales strategies
- Initiating and participating in client calls to acquire new business
- Executing and supporting the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposals, writing contracts, customer correspondence, etc.)
- Analyzing market information and implementing strategy to achieve sales goals
- Ensuring all checks, payments, folios, and advanced deposits are submitted to the appropriate departments
- Interacting with guests to obtain feedback and reviewing guest satisfaction results to identify areas for improvement and strengthen long-term relationships
- Developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
- Collaborating with marketing to create content, including copy, video and photos showcasing Pax Hotel Group amenities.
Requirements & Preferences
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2-3 years hotel experience
- A minimum 3 years’ experience in sales
- The ability to manage multiple sales activities simultaneously while maintaining communication to inform key stakeholders of progress
- Demonstrated excellence in communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proven lead-generation and closing skills
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
