Health Insurance Advisor, LLC has an immediate opening for a full-time or part-time, Medicare Sales Associate. We are seeking a State of Iowa Life & Accident Health license holder. This candidate must be an ambitious sales professional who is forward thinking, someone who wants to showcase their skills, be recognized for their drive to succeed, and will thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail and displays solid organizational and time management skills. Must be a team player with a positive “can-do” attitude. Strong communication skills is critical all while being incredibly dependable.

Job Duties:

• Assess and analyze Medicare needs while providing an excellent client experience
• Consult on coverage and price trade-offs to meet the clients' needs, directing clients to the appropriate carrier
• Respond to leads quickly and effectively
• Communicate to clients via phone, email, and text messages
• Maintain a strong working relationship with office personnel and the general agency (GBL) teams to ensure clients' needs are met throughout the sales process
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs while contributing to the overall business goals
• Run prescription lists and advise the client of best options.
• High touch position

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent required, secondary education preferred
• Insurance License Required – or willing to get license within 60 days of employment.
• 1+ years sales
• A competitive drive: you enjoy being a part of a team but you also value being the best
• Unrelenting desire to improve professionally and personally

Work location – Johnston, IA
Office Hours: M-F 8-4:30 - Position will start as part-time.
