Job Details

OVERVIEW

The primary duty of the Business Development and Client Success Manager is to retain and grow the existing client base by means of routine calls and visits to all clients and win new business for the company. The individual is to develop a relationship with the client on behalf of the company, gaining their confidence, and serving to educate and resolve concerns promptly as needed. The individual is to stay abreast of personnel changes, ownership changes, new construction, competition, or anything that may jeopardize our relationship with a client or that could provide leads to new business. Our clients include Skilled Nursing Facilities with secondary focus on Assisted Living, Home Health, Hospice, Correctional, Industrial, and other markets that become available.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Make routine in-person and virtual customer service visits to decision makers and billing contacts at all area accounts.
  • Develop and nurture relationships at the corporate level and with ordering physicians and medical directors for accounts in the territory.
  • Identify prospects and market through cold calls, mail, phone calls, networking and email communication with decision makers and corporate owners.
  • Provide customer training/in-service for online client portals to new clients and new facility employees.
  • Attend client QA meetings as requested by the client.
  • Attend local client associational meetings, including conventions, breakfast meetings, etc., being proactive to ensure that they understand all the benefits available through BTX.
  • Respond to and resolve customer questions, requests, and concerns timely.
  • Develop leads and solicit new sales accounts for the company in assigned territory.
  • Serve on the company’s QA Committee that meets monthly by conference call.
  • Other duties as assigned

SKILLS|EXPERIENCE:

  • Self-discipline and persistence in prospecting and follow-up is critical.
  • Make live and virtual sales presentations to prospects.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing that are mutually beneficial to the client and BTX.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional in appearance, upholding company mission statement.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Able to resolve basic customer-related problems promptly and effectively.
  • Prior customer service experience and medical or radiology background is beneficial.
  • Proficient with use of usual communication technology and routine business programs such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Emotional and physical health sufficient to meet the demands of the position, which includes significant driving, manning the booth at trade shows, transport/set-up/tear-down of company booth display, transport of promotional items and literature, being available to take phone calls and/or handle a client concern after usual work hours as needed, etc.
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed, approximately 1-3 nights/month.
  • Drug Free, must pass background checks required for work in skilled nursing facilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The position is a full-time position paid on a salaried plus commission basis and reports to the Regional Vice President. The position is to be worked independently, covering an assigned geographic territory and client list. The candidate must live in the assigned geographic territory to be most efficient and effective. It requires self-motivation, a strong work ethic, organization and efficiency to accomplish required personal visits, documentation of contacts, trade show attendance, and other required meetings. The position is worked from a home-based office, and the company provides a vehicle, laptop and/or tablet, cell phone, company gas and credit card, and other items necessary to perform duties.

REQUIRED LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. A bachelor’s degree or ARRT licensure is preferred, but not required.
  • Driver’s license in good standing
