Retail Sales Sales Executive/Business Development in Fortuna, CA
Blue Star Gas (BSG) has an immediate opportunity for a full time Sales Executive to support efforts to grow our business in the Humboldt County, CA area. This position may be based in either our Garberville, Fortuna, or Arcata office. Our ideal candidate will be tenacious, focused, and highly motivated to succeed. They should be passionate about providing an outstanding customer experience, and a self-starter capable of working independently to achieve results. The successful candidate will have at least four years outside sales experience or equivalent. In addition, strong technology skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications are musts. A candidate with expertise in customer relationship management software as well as propane fuel, related equipment, gas appliances, or energy is strongly desired.
The Sales Executive will be responsible for growing our propane business primarily in the industrial, forklift, commercial, and resale sectors, with some additional opportunities in the residential sector. We’re seeking an experienced individual that understands propane, energy, and appliance/generator offerings, or has demonstrated the ability to be a quick study of this subject matter.
The candidate will have access to the latest products, technology, and resources in the industry and must maintain the highest level of ethical business standards and customer service practices.
Our Sales Executive will achieve sales goals by generating quality leads, initiating contact with potential customers, developing/presenting proposals, and networking to develop customer referrals. Candidates should demonstrate experience in developing sales proposals that align with ROI targets, presenting proposals, conducting product demonstrations, closing sales, and providing exceptional service after the sale.
