Here’s an overview of what you’ll be doing in your exciting, new career as a Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager at Crane:
Position Summary: Provide account management service to insurance clients. Provide support to Insurance Producers including marketing of accounts and preparation of proposals.
- Review and update applications and supporting documents; take responsibility of renewal marketing.
- Prepare proposal information from company quotations presenting to clients where applicable.
- Process necessary coverage/order requests to underwriter(s).
- Process new/renewal binding documents and agency billed invoices; send to insured.
- Prepare certificate set up.
- Process endorsement requests and supporting documents. After verification, prepare invoices forwarding all information to insured.
- Review bid specifications for special insurance requirements, e.g. builders risk/ocp/rrp. Prepare quotes accordingly and communicate with insured prior to bid date.
- Follow up for audits; verify and invoice accordingly.
- Maintain proper file documentation using the EPIC agency management system.
Qualified candidates must have complete knowledge of commercial insurance practices and procedures of an agency and the industry. An active Missouri producer's license in good standing is required. Candidates must be customer focused and have a friendly, positive attitude with a willingness to help others. Excellent prioritization, verbal and written communication, attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is required. Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
